These terms are an agreement between you and Digital Summit LLC ("we", "us") covering your use of the SaveAfter mobile app and this website. By using SaveAfter you accept them.
Read this part if you read nothing else. SaveAfter tells you what a store's published policy appears to allow for a purchase you made. That is our analysis, not the retailer's decision. Retailers decide every request, can change their policies, and may apply rules we cannot see. SaveAfter does not guarantee any saving, adjustment or refund. Always check the official policy link we show you.
SaveAfter is a post-purchase savings assistant. You add a purchase; we identify the exact product, apply the store's reviewed official policy to work out your return and price-adjustment deadlines, watch the price of that exact product while a window is open, and suggest legitimate ways to save. SaveAfter does not contact retailers or submit requests on your behalf.
Some information is produced with AI, including reading receipts and writing explanations. It can be wrong. Check what we extracted before relying on it; you can correct anything in the app.
SaveAfter is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any retailer, and nothing in the app is a statement by a retailer. Store names identify the stores whose public policies we read and belong to their owners.
You may only add purchases you made or are entitled to act on. You agree not to use SaveAfter to deceive a retailer or anyone else, including by altering or fabricating receipts, making false claims about a product's condition or a defect, swapping serial numbers or items, returning items in ways a policy does not allow, or exploiting pricing errors. We may suspend accounts used this way. You also agree not to scrape, resell or reverse engineer the service, or interfere with its operation or security.
You can use SaveAfter as a guest or save your account with Sign in with Apple or an email address. Keep your sign-in secure. Receipts and information you add remain yours; you give us permission to store and process them only to provide SaveAfter to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your content and your account at any time in the app.
SaveAfter has a free plan and may offer paid plans. What each plan includes, its limits (for example, how many purchases you can track at once and how many receipts you can scan each month) and its price are shown on the Plans screen in the app before you buy. The free plan shows ads; paid plans do not.
Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions sold through the App Store or Google Play and charged to that account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings or the Google Play Store app; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Deleting your SaveAfter account does not cancel a store subscription. If we change a plan's price, the store will tell you before it applies and, where the store requires it, ask for your agreement.
Some retailer links in the app carry affiliate tracking, so we may earn a commission if you buy. The app shows a disclosure next to those links. Commissions never change which options we show or how they are ranked.
SaveAfter provides general information about published retail policies. It is not legal or financial advice.
SaveAfter is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant that prices, policies, deadlines or availability shown are accurate or current at the moment you act on them.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for a retailer's decision on any request, and our total liability for any claim relating to SaveAfter is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for SaveAfter in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
If you downloaded SaveAfter from the App Store, these terms are between you and Digital Summit LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or intellectual-property claims. To the extent any warranty applies, if the app fails to conform you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
You may stop using SaveAfter and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice in the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Missouri have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
If we change these terms materially, we will update the effective date above and give notice in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use SaveAfter after that means you accept the updated terms.
